Pisces Season 2024

Today is the first day of Pisces season 2024 when the Sun travels through the zodiacal sign of Pisces for one month.

Pisces energy is emotionally receptive with the intention of integration, resonance, and togetherness. With perception outside of time and space, Pisces energy accesses faith, intuition, and belief in universal principles.

Pisces energy accesses poetry, fashion, music, romance, and “being in flow” but it can also activate getting lost in dissociation, escapism, and/or addiction.

Going a bit deeper into Pisces energy we find the expression of grappling with contradictions and the desire to integrate opposites through the paradoxical concepts of duality and oneness.

This Pisces season, instead of getting caught up on the details, move beyond words, facts, and figures. How can we instead embody and inspire love even when we are frightened?

Saturn in Pisces

After 29 years, Saturn recently returned to the sign of Pisces on March 07, 2023 where it will transit until February 2026. It takes Saturn about 2.5 years to move through each sign.

Saturn symbolizes anxiety, boundaries, rules, structures, and consequences- almost contradictory from Pisces energy. Saturn in Pisces shows us what it’s like to have what seems like dissolved boundaries, nonsensical rules, and un-enforceable consequences. Although Saturn is of a malefic nature, it can also bring the rewards of long-term success as well.

Last year, the first half of Pisces season had Saturn at the last degrees of Aquarius before Saturn entered Pisces. This year, Pisces season is starting with Saturn at 08º Pisces which is likely to start this season off with a more sobering quality.

Advice

Stay grounded. Check your birth chart to see which house (area of life) holds Pisces and which placements you have there. Once you can pinpoint the area of your life that is involved with Pisces energy, you can pay attention to it as the transits progress to learn how the transits are coming to life. For example, if you have a personal placement near 09º Pisces/Virgo/Sagittarius/Gemini, you are likely to notice the upcoming triple conjunction on Feb 28th being reflected in your own life. That transit could look like delivering or receiving bad news, disabled communications, experiencing rejection, or meeting with someone who is depraved, pessimistic, and negative. I would advise against signing contracts that day unless it’s absolutely unavoidable. If you understand the planetary archetypes involved, you can better understand the people and events in your life. Saturn is performing its essential nature, which is to reject, deny, exclude, and enact consequences. Saturn is doing so in the style of Pisces or with the attitude of Pisces, if you will.

“I want everyone to be together and live happily ever after so I’m going to take <this and that> away”. It hardly makes sense, right? And yet this energy is what we are dealing with.

Remember, the more you resist something, the more it persists. Try working with the energy as much as possible rather than trying to control it.
